Made entirely of black American walnut, this kiot was commissioned and donated by a parishioner to archangel Gabriel’s church in TX.

It houses an icon of blessed Saint Olga as well as a small reliquary.

The detail in this piece is complete by utilizing traditional floral blind fretwork of “forget me nots” the Alaskan state flower, a subtle nod to the homeland of Saint Olga.
